Why I wanted to know

One of the basic questions I always asked myself back then was if I was pretty enough. This is common with girls and I was not an exception. I asked because I wasn’t confident; I asked because I thought I needed the opinion of others and their approval to be able to lift up my head. The truth is that I didn’t.

What is More Important?

It is more important to know than to feel it. I know!
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I choose not to work myself up just to look pretty for anybody else but for myself. No matter how pretty you look, some people will never be able to see it.
It is a choice! You can choose to be pretty or not. Imagine having the best of skincare available, the best and most fitting of clothes. The choice to be pretty is still yours. You need the attitude; you need the smile and the confidence to present yourself as pretty.

It doesn’t matter what others say. The question is meant for me and the answer is my opinion. I have the right to my own opinion and it should be independent of what people have to say about how pretty I am,
Self-love is vital to inner prettiness.

I needed to learn how to be pretty from inside before I could present myself as pretty. Truth is that we all have these inner prettiness, we just need to tap into it. One of the evidence of self-love is that you stay organic, true to yourself!

 5 Simple Ways to Know

  1. I take good care of myself. I don’t miss a chance to do the best for my figure, my energies and my natural skin. I treat my body with the respect that only pretty people deserve.
  2. I am not waiting for anyone to answer that question for me. It is my question and I choose to give it a big ‘yes, I am pretty’.
  3. I see it in others. People who don’t see themselves as pretty will never see or appreciate it in others. In fact, they try to make light of it. I often search out prettiness and I compliment it. This is one of the ways I let myself know that I know that I am pretty.
  4. I stay natural; I am not pressed to change my looks. I always keep my skincare natural and organic. If I don’t think that I am pretty enough, I would have changes to these easy to purchase chemicals. It is what I see daily. A lot of people use any and all kinds of chemicals just to improve their looks. Only convinced people can go against what is common to stay natural.
  5. I have come to discover that those who are truly pretty are those who use only natural remedies to combat any form of skin irritation or other skincare issues. By way of concluding these thoughts, I am not only pretty, I am incredibly beautiful!

Emotions Are Contagious – Be Happy

Today, on OiB I will discuss a very natural reaction and approach towards life that can change the way life takes turns as well. I have often seen that there are many people who are too emotional. There are also some people who are over practical. A balance between both of these reactions is seriously needed to stay happy and good. This is why I decided on a way to make sure that all my readers are always happy and get the best out of their lives at the same time too.

Emotions are obviously a very natural reaction to whatever is happening in one’s lives. These emotions can be as happy as a chirping bird or even like a pessimist who is always very irritating. The secret to a good happy life is, in fact staying happy and reacting with just the right amount if emotions at the right time.

You might be thinking how one can actually control their naturally outburst of emotions. Well this is why I am writing to you because there are some experiences that I want to share. They have kept me satisfied and have also changed my approach towards life too. You can also do the following to be happy:

  • Do not over think things. That’s Number 1. Personally, I keep things smooth and easy, especially since living in culturally challenging culture like Malaysia. Keep yourself busy elsewhere if the problem is very personal and tough for you. This will help you stay strong and empowered as well. This way you can also deal with the situation with a clear mind for a good and effective solution.
  • Let your emotions out just for once and for all if you cannot contai
    n in the beginning or if the problem is too life threatening. Once, your heart is light you shall already feel confident and be on the road to be happy again.
  • Know that over excessive emotions will never help to brighten the situation. This will help you stay controlled. In the same line, always keep in mind that emotions are truly contagious. If you are low, it can also bring on low morale for others around you as well
  • Keep dealing with the problem with an aggressive attitude to find the right solution at all costs. Do not go for over evaluations and share your problem with another ear that understands you
  • Think of yourself as the leader who has to deal with all the things to make it right. This way you are closer to achieving your goal soon
  • Cherish the good things in life. Value moments and the efforts people do for you as well
    Treat yourself and pamper yourself through many suitable techniques that you love to do often
  • Appreciate the efforts and whatever life has blessed you with. You never know someone else might be craving for it.

No matter how old we are, what we do, where we live, we are always after happiness. Well, I found out that happiness is not in a place or in a person. If you are not living so many moments like that in your life, don’t give up, because it is never too late. And your attitudes and choices will make all the difference.

And you can ask me: but how about the moments that the things didn’t work out? Well, they brought you here right?! So I think it was not as bad as you thought. The things we did, the things we left undone, the heartbreaks, the tears, the scars, everything made who you are now, made you wiser and stronger to choose now better then yesterday. Being happy is not about having a perfect life, but it is about stop being a victim of the problems and create your own story.

I dare to say that smile is the most contagious thing in life. And this may happens for a reason, and an awesome one: when we make people smile, we smile. So don’t spare smiles, they are your most precious gift for the ones you love and even for the ones you don’t even know. If we all make each other smile, everyone will be happy.

3. DO SOMETHING NEW
To achieve what you have never had, you have to do what you have never done. So don’t be afraid to try new things, like a new food, a new sport, a new destination, a new adventure. Having a routine is the easiest way to live but the most boring too.

So write done in a notebook the good things that happened to you every day. In the end of the week you can take it and see how happy you were. Life is good and simple, we just have to choose the right perspective. Words are a beautiful tool to use too!

5. GO AFTER THAT BIG DREAM, YES, THAT ONE!
Remember the dream that make you smile, that makes you wonder, that gives you hope, that lives in your hear? Now is time to do something about. Everyday do something that moves you closer to this dream. It doesn’t matter if the steps are going to be small ones, as long as you are moving in the right direction.
