Apart from being a natural refrigerant, is one other highlighting about Jojoba oil that it’s not that expensive when comparing to all other essential oils.

One great thing about Jojoba oil suits many skin type. It is a great relief to those who are facing acne problems, the oil helps in oozing out the pain and relaxes your skin. It can be used with other oils like tea tree oil to overcome acne problems. Once after you have applied tea tree oil, wash it off with warm water then apply the jojoba oil. This combination works best and I have personally recommended to many of my friends.

Jojoba oil is also great while using against a sensitive skin or aged skin. By using cosmetics, the skin may become rough and very sensitive, while facing such conditions you should definitely give jojoba oil a try. Not only it sooths the skin but also reduces the wrinkles and leaves a very pleasing fragrance. Using jojoba oil is a very relaxing skin care method. You can also use it as a natural skin moisturiser, it is not greasy and blends very well with the skin. So yeah jojoba oil does have multiple advantages.

As mentioned earlier, one of the great thing about jojoba oil is that it suits many skin type. I personally who have shown an allergic reaction to certain oils like coconut oil, almond oil or olive oil. So if these mentioned oils have not worked for you then you should definitely give jojoba oil a try.

Using jojoba oil: –

Skin moisturiser –  to use as a natural moisturiser use 2 to 3 drops during the daytime and about 4 to 5 drops during the night-time to get a natural shiny look and also cools your skin.

On hair – Organic Jojoba oil can be used to get healthy hair. It gives a very shiny texture to the hair and get the smoothness you desire for. Apply 7 to 8 drops of oil directly to your hair, massage it well, this will help to keep your head cool and your hair healthy. Likewise, you can also use it is a conditioner, all you need to do is add a few drops of jojoba oil along with the shampoo and let it wash your hair.

⇔ As an aftershave – Jojoba oil has great healing properties and it is a natural refrigerant. So use jojoba oil right after shaving.

As a lip gloss – Jojoba oil can also be used as a natural lip gloss, take very small quantity like a drop or so and dap it on your lips. Not only use them closely look but also reduces the flakes on your lips.

Jojoba oil is one of my favourite oil. Instead of the greasy look like many other oils jojoba oil gives a very non relaxing nongreasy feel. I really believe you should incorporate jojoba oil in your daily life.

Love

Amanda.

Honey has been my facial cleanser of choice for the past 6 months, and my skin is loving it! The purpose of the honey cleansing method is towash your face without stripping your skin from its natural oils, while nourishing your skin with all of the lovely benefits of honey.

The benefits of using honey as a face wash:

Antibacterial, helps prevent acne
Healing, helps treat acne and discoloration
Moisturizing, hydration is key for maintaining a youthful complexion
Antioxidants,key for anti-aging
Gentle on delicate skin
Honey is perfect for all skin types, it moisturizes dry skin andbalances oily skin

How to:

Honey will not remove makeup so if you have any on you will need to take it off beforehand
Use honey as you would any other cleanser, both morning and night; rub it in to your skin in light circular motions, concentrating on any problem…

TIPS: It is important to use raw honey because pasteurized honey is heated and most of the beneficial properties are lost in the process. I like to use organic raw honey because it is the highest quality, which makes it the best option for my skin.

My Results:

My skin is sensitive, combination, and acne prone. Before the honey cleansing method I typically had moderate breakouts, some type of small blemish on my face everyday, and occasionally those awfully painful blemishes, along with very dry skin around my nose and chin.

I began by only cleansing with honey for the first 2 months, and once my skin was dramatically improved I started using a gel cleanser in the evening paired with a clarisonic (see my AM and PM skincare routine.) My complexion is smooth, radiant, and my breakouts are under control. My pores are more refined too! However, I still break out occasionally, but my blemishes are a lot smaller and heal up faster.

Further tips:

→ If you have longer hair make sure it is pulled back tight, and if you have bangs make sure they are out of the way (I always use a headband)
I find this easiest to do in front of a mirror so you can make sure the honey is evenly distributed and completely rinsed off.
→ If you plan to let your honey sit for awhile make sure you don’t have too much on or it will drip!
If any honey happens to get in your hairline go over those spots with a damp cotton ball or washcloth to clean it up
Busy morning? Lazy night? Let your honey sit while you brush your teeth!

In few words, I highly recommend trying this out! If you’re not ready to set your current facial cleanser aside, try honey cleansing only in the morning or doing a honey mask a few times a week.

If you have a known honey, bee, or pollen allergy this isn’t for you, if you’re not sure, do a test patch on your wrist, let it sit for 10 minutes, rinse, and check if that area feels sensitive or has a noticeable reaction.
