Tea tree against acne |

Tea tree Essential oil to get rid of acne

There is such a large number of acne fighting cosmetic product out there, yet I prefer natural choices. Safe to use for your skin and body and pretty much as effective, that it really can’t go wrong.

One of my all time favourite to-go acne curing product is Tea Tree Oil. I’ve been using it for a long time and it really works well.

Extracted from from Australia’s tea trees, this oil contains antibacterial, antifungal and germ-free properties making it a great product to fight many skin problems like , bug bites, infections, athlete’s foot and of course, acne.

Tree oil is extracted by steam refining the leaves of the tea tree , which is local to Australia. Using oil against skin problems caused by an excess of oil may seem quite in-appropriate, but according to certain reserched its the best cure. Tree oil is best for fighting acne, but try it somewhere else on your body before yoou apply them on face, because some people have reported skin irritaion and itchiness after using Tea Tree Oil.

Here are the best three methods I use to fight acne, usinng Tea Tree oil.

Spot Treatment

I really hate those single spot pimples that destroy a generally wonderful appearance. As opposed to give your face a full facial, I select this convenient spot treatment.

All you need is some tea tree oil and aloe vera gel. Combine 1 teaspoon of tea tree oil with 9 teaspoons of aloe vera gel. Blend it and keep it in a container. Many people are keeping this container with them, and use it on their spot pimples

I use to apply a tiny amount of cream on the affected area and keep it on for 10-15minutes, this will kill the pimple causing bacteria and allow the pore to heal naturally.

The acne medicine

There’s nothing as remarkable as a decent medicine to overcome your skin problems. It makes your skin feel crisp, clean and keeps it fresh.

To make acne fighting medicinal spray, combine 1 portion of tea tree oil to 9 portions of water in a spray bottle. Shake it well, and then spray it on your face, neck or any body part which is affected by acne.

Like the spot treatment, this blend clears pores by killing the skin acne causing bacteria. It also help to overcome severe inflammation.

The Tea tree Face Mask

If you have severe acne problems, and of there is a severe breakout then tea tree face mask is for you.

To prepare the mask you need, 2 tablespoons of green clay powder, 4 drops of tea tree oil and enough water to transform this into a paste form. Blend this mixture together in a small bowl until it’s smooth. Using clean fingers, apply everywhere all over and neck and let it sit for 20 minutes. The paste will get to be dry in 20 minutes, but don’t wash it off! stay patient. You need to give it time to get absorbed into your skin.

After 30-45 minutes’ flush it off with water and pat dry. This paste can also be used for spot treatment, so don’t throw away the excess, keep it safe in an airtight container. It might come in handy.

If you are using any of the above three methods to cure your acne problem, the result may start appearing in a week. Other than cherishing your skin break-out and pimple free life, your skin will be also scented by the fresh oil fragrance in the tea tree oil.

Tea tree oil may be bit hard to find, but it’s the best natural cure out there if are facing acne problem. Don’t you think it’s worth a try? Don’t you think going all natural is the best way to overcome these skin problems. The above mentioned methods are quite easy, I always use them to get rid of my pimple problem, and I think you should give it a try too.

7 powerful antibacterial essential oils

Essential oils make some of the most powerful antibacterial products around. While there are a number of essential oils which are perfect for keeping bacteria at bay, there are seven of them which stand head and shoulders above the rest. It is these that we will be taking a look at on this page.

Number One: Eucalyptus

This has been used for medicinal purposes for centuries. It is often used to treat wounds such as burns and cuts. In addition to this, you can actually find eucalyptus in a variety of different dental products. This is because it is brilliant at fighting cavities and keeping various dental conditions at bay.

Number Two: Peppermint

Peppermint, as you may well know, is used for dental purposes. Most toothpaste on the market is mint flavored. This isn’t just because it tastes good, but because it is a powerful antibacterial. In addition to this, it can help to fight nail infection. When consumed (not via toothpaste) it can also provide a nice little boost to the immune system which will keep your health in tip-top condition.

Number Three: Lavender

Lavender is a powerful antibacterial. It is used to treat a variety of different skin conditions. However, it is most effective on acne and psoriasis. In fact, this is one of the main reasons as to why you will find Lavender added to some of the most popular skin care products out there on the market. It helps to prevent acne.

In addition to this, acne is known for its ability to provide a person with protection from bacteria if they are dealing with a cut or sunburn.

Number Four: Tea Tree Oil

This can be applied directly to the skin. The others will, likely, have to be diluted with some other oil. Tea tree oil is often used to deal with skin infections. This includes warts, eczema, and acne. However, it has also been proven to be useful when it comes to the treatment of athlete’s foot. Tea Tree Oil is actually one of only a few products out there on the market which your doctor will recommend that you keep to hand at all times. It is just that useful!

Number Five: Bergamot

Bergamot is not oil that you can apply to your skin. Well, you can do that, but most of the benefit occurs when it is ingested. This is because it can help to fight off urinary tract infections, meningitis etc.

Number six: Lemongrass

This can help fight off bacteria in a number of different situations. For example, lemongrass is known for its ability to combat body odor, malaria, and bacteria which causes food poisoning. It also acts as a natural antiseptic. This means that you can use it when you are dealing with cuts and scrapes.

Number seven: Oregano

Finally, Oregano is an essential oil which has been used since ancient Greece. Back then, they discovered that it was brilliant at fighting off infections and bacteria on the skin. You can use it for the same purpose now. You can also use it to boost your immune system. It really helps that it is delicious too!

Cupping Therapy, Anyone?

cupping 1
Cupping Therapy, Anyone? –

You might have seen those bizarre red circles on Olympians or celebrities recently and pondered if someone did not apply their sunscreen correctly. These red markings are actually from cupping therapy sessions, a type of deep tissue massage. It goes without saying that cupping therapy is definitely something I recommend you try.

What is Cupping Therapy?

Cupping therapy is an alternative therapy method much like acupuncture and massage. Instead of applying pressure to muscles or penetrating the skin, though, cupping uses suction from “cups” to pull skin, tissue, and muscles upward. This action enhances circulation, relieves pain, and pulls out impurities . These cups can be made from glass, bamboo, earthenware, or silicone, although I have seen one earthenware ones in person.

Though this type of therapy is now trending around the world, it is not a new discovery. Cupping therapy has been used since 3000 BC by the ancient Egyptians, Middle Eastern cultures, and Chinese. In China, cupping therapy is a trade passed down through the generations. In ancient times, Taoist medical herbalists used cupping therapy to treat royals and aristocrats.

How does it Work?

The therapy involves using cups applied to a patient’s back. Cups are positioned in such a way that a vacuum effect is created. This suction targets areas deep beneath the skin and tissue.

There are two techniques widely used in cupping therapy: dry cupping (also known as “fire cupping”) and wet cupping (also called “bleeding cupping”). Also seen with dry cupping are “fixed cupping,” and “moving cupping,” where the cups may or may not be repositioned around the back.

Dry Cupping

This style of cupping involves having cups placed onto the patient’s back then carefully heated using fire. Sometimes, the cups are heated with hot water or oil. Once placed, the cups are held on the back for about 15 minutes. Since the cups contract during cooling, the skin in contact with the cup gets pulled up into the cup. If the cups do not get moved, this would be “fixed cupping.” Should oil be applied to the back and the cups moved around while cooling, that would be “moving cupping.”

Wet Cupping

This version was most popular in the Middle East and involves “blood-letting” [1]. After leaving a cup on the back for about 3 minutes, the therapist then removes the cup and uses a scalpel to cut the skin. Another set of cups is then placed over the cut to draw out blood.

What are the Benefits?

Research has been done on cupping therapy. A recent meta-analysis published by PLOS One in 2012  stated that cupping aids various conditions like:

  • Herpes zoster
  • Acne
  • Cervical spondylosis

The British Cupping Society  also says cupping is beneficial for treating the following:

  • Anemia
  • Hemophilia
  • Rheumatic diseases like arthritis and fibromyalgia
  • Infertility
  • Eczema
  • High blood pressure
  • Migraines
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Bronchial congestion
  • Varicose veins

I know cupping therapy might seem a bit scary and look weird, but it is an OiB recommended treatment. You will not believe how much better you feel after a few sessions! Release toxins, tensions, and ailments trapped beneath the skin. Once you have had your first experience, please share your story with us!

I use Organic Tangerine Oil to reduce my pimples (& it worked) –

Welcome to OiB love. Today, I will teach something very special and close to my heart. That is because it saved me from a lot of pimples and embarrassment. Well, pimples can be extremely annoying because they always pop up at the wrong moments.

Perhaps, you had a date and while getting ready in the evening noticed pimples all over your face. Do you remember? How bad? Well, that is no longer going to be possible, with the help of organic Tangerine oil. Yes, it is true.

Tangerine is a citrus smelling food item and was originally found in the nature of China. The Chinese used it a lot in preparing medicines and health products. Tangerine is also called as mandarin and can be made into in herbal oils as well as beautifully scented perfumes.

Plants that Purify Air

The ultimate beauty of the product is that, it can easily correct the imbalances in the body. The main use of Tangerine is to protect your skin. That is because it is a powerful antiseptic and can immediately kill bacteria.

It is ideal for pimples and acnes. Those of you with oily skins need not become upset, as it is phototoxic which makes your skin glow. You might not consider using it when going out in the hot sun. It also helps in the purification of the blood. The toxins present in the blood are removed.

Tangerine oils also remove kidney or gall bladder stones. Pregnant women, sorry sweeties, you need to avoid them or consult with your doctor first before using it.

  • Some fresh or dried leaves
  • Little oil

Add the desired leaves into a crock pot. The leaves get mixed with the oil under low heat. Once it is done, you need to place the ingredients in a jar near a window sill for 12 hours for the infusion process to be complete.

The next step involves using a still to collect the oil. The leaves need to be heated and you will notice that it becomes slightly into oil. When the steam passes through the leaves, it carries the oils that then condense it to another container.

When cooking, always check the temperature to make sure that you don’t overheat the leaves. Trust me, the oil is just intoxicating. The smell itself is enough to really get into a spell.

So love, are you ready to try this simple DIY and develop better skincare?
