I’ve read a lot of wonderful reviews about lemon water and my mom is a big fan.THIS BEING SAID,if you are like me and have a stomach desease/disorder or have a history of it, please, please, talk to your doctor before starting this lemon water regimen.
I had stomach ulcers 20yrs ago (i was 10-11 years old back then) and it has been more than 10 yrs that i’ve been well,so well that i’ve even forget that i’ve ever had that problem.Last year i started this lemon water regimen (following the recommandation of my mom) and after a week on it my stomach was burning in pain…i couldn’t understand what was going on until my doctor asked me if there was any change in my diet/lifestyle ???. I stopped the lemon water and everything went back to normal 🙁 :(.

Long story short, lemon water is great, but please be careful if u have a stomach disorder(such as ulcers) or u had in the past.

Sorry to hear your stomach hurts after drinking lemon water! I guess it is not suitable for everyone. I found in more useful than the reverse.
Good reminder to always check with a doctor in case of any doubt.
All the best to you Carine, and thanks for sharing your experience.
