3 Quick Hair Spa Treatments

g7mndpp3tys8wnrnjkq1_dscf0623-copia

Today on OiB, I will discuss the three most responsive and quick treatments for hair. I have often received queries from my fans who say that they often don’t have much time to visit salons and spas or that they have to go to many different places and can’t afford to give time for hair. This is why I decided to share the approach I apply, whenever I am in such a situation.

The best way to do this is save time by not going to the salon or spa at all. I have often seen that most of my time is spent looking for my stylist, calling her up, setting an appointment, and then traveling to and from the salon as well. This means that if you spend about 40 minutes on your hair then more than 40 minutes is spent in other ways.

This is why I decided to learn and develop some new skills for quick hair treatments so that I do not need to go to the spa at all. I have developed a few of these quick treatments, but the top 3 of them are given as follows

1. Scalp Massage

There might be many essentials for different hair treatments but this treatment is truly the best of all. This is because it is super easy and works wonders at home too. The hair treatment is started at home while coconut oil or olive oil is also put into it. The next step only requires true head massaging with gentle stroke for just a little amount of time. As a result, the blood circulation is increased and a boost is received by the hair as well.

2. Hair Steaming

This is one of the most important processes that can be used for improving one’s hair. Hair steaming can be obtained after a towel is dipped in warm water and all the extra water is squeezed from it. You can also wrap this towel around your hair so that the oil can reach deep down under into your scalp. This can be done for 5 to 6 minutes so that the maximum effect is reached upon. It leaves hair volumised in a sense too.

3. Hair Washing and Conditioner Treatment

This is the last step of taking quick hair treatments at home. You can shampoo your hair, condition it and wash it thoroughly. One can also apply a paste of beetroot and hibiscus powder on it. Next, the hair mask is also the best way to take care of all nourishment needs. It provides softening and hair texture regulation as well. it provides shine to your hair effectively as well.

If you have any questions regarding any of these 3 quick hair treatments, then you do not need to hesitate at all if you leave your question here in the comments. We shall also be glad to know of any new quick hair treatments of your own that suit you too. Make sure you get your hands working on the comments section for sure!

Usage of Tea Tree Oil and Its Benefits

Want to improve your skin condition using natural elements? Then this post is definitely for you.

Introduction
There are hundreds and thousands uses of tea tree oil. It is best known for skin care application, but the research has shown that tea tree oil can be used as antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral property.

There are over hundred different constituents in the native tree from Northeast coast of Australia. All these components play a major role in developing properties of this surperbe natural skincare product. The best quality of tea tree oil is that you do not have to dilute it before applying to the skin. It is the safest oil and is suitable for all skin type as is it considered as the concentrated natural oil. But if you have very sensitive skin then I would recommend you to dilute it.

Here you go with some suggestions regarding the uses and benefits of tea tree oil.

 Athletes Foot: It commonly grows in warm, moist areas between toes and the sides and soles of feet. It is very infectious and spreads quickly through locker and shower rooms. Tea tree oil is great for treating a wide range of fungal infections and symptoms, which includes athlete’s foot. To get rid of athlete’s foot, you can use tea tree oil as topical application. It would be effective of you apply 3 or more times a day to the infected area. Tea tree oil is also used in the topical treatment of skin infection such as ringworm.

 In the treatment of cold and flu: Cold and flu symptoms can be treated by using tea tree oil. For sore throats, it is a suggestion to add ten drops to a cup of warm water and gargle. Do this twice a day. This will help you in clearing mucus and killing bacteria.

 Sinus: Put few drops of tea tree oil in a steam bath or vaporizer or you can add 5-10 drops to steaming hot water for an inhalant. You can rub around sinuses. Using this treatment at the onset of symptoms will help in killing germs and bacteria.

 Gum infections: Use a mouthwash of tea tree oil by diluting it in water, it will help remedy and prevent gum disease and plaque. Do not even think about swallowing it. Small amounts are not considered toxic, though it can create some stomach related problems.

 Candida Albicans Infections: Tea tree oil possesses fungal properties which can help in clearing vaginal thrush and is of value with treating genital infections generally.

 Acne: Gently wipe the skin with a cotton ball which is soaked in straight or diluted tea tree oil. It will help in calming the inflammation, diminishing infection, and preventing new acne pores from developing. It does not irritate or trouble skin while killing the bacteria that aggravate skin eruptions. You can use it on face, neck, chest, and back. Mix a few drops with acne cleanser to boost its effectiveness.

 Head Lice: Head lice can be treated by adding then drops of tea tree oil to shampoo. The hair and scalp should be wet and lathered thoroughly. Use a fine toothed-comb before shampoo is rinsed off. Avoid direct contact with eyes while washing hair. For effective result must use it several times a month.

 Іnsесt Bites: A drop or two of tea tree oil can be applied directly onto an insect bite or sting to help alleviate swelling, itching, and redness.

 Skin Irritations and Sunburns: Add several drops of tea tree oil to bath water; it can help reduce the swelling and itching from skin irritations. In addition the same method can be done to help the symptoms of minor sunburns.

 Bug Repellent: Bugs strongly dislike tea tree oil. The oil can be used against deter ants, roaches, and other pests. Put a few drops of the oil where the pests are coming from. You can also wipe your kitchen, rooms and other places of house with the mixture of water and tea tree oil this will make the bugs leave.

Still Skeptical About Coconut Oil Pulling?

Still Skeptical About Coconut Oil Pulling? – Organicisbeautiful.com

A lot of hubbub has been going around recently about coconut oil pulling, so it made me curious. After doing some reading, I was pretty amazed by the effects of coconut oil on oral health. So today on OiB, I would like to introduce the awesomeness of coconut oil, because you might be skeptical about this trend like I was once.

What is Oil Pulling?

As explained on WebMD, oil pulling is a “type of Ayurvedic medicine that dates back 3,000 years… [that] involves swishing approximately 1 tablespoon of oil—typically coconut, sesame, or sunflower oil—in your mouth for about 20 minutes and then spitting it out.” The idea behind oil pulling is that the oils detoxify the oral cavity by drawing out toxins to create a clean, antiseptic environment.

I know what you are thinking. That sounds kind of like pseudo-science. But, recent studies have proven that oil pulling has many benefits.

Benefits of Oil Pulling

A study in 2015 looked into the benefits of coconut oil pulling and the effects it has on plaque-related gingivitis. At the end of the 30 day period where the participants swished coconut oil, the results showed a “statistically significant decrease in the plaque and gingival indices” that was noted since day 7. The “scores continued to decrease during the period of study,” reports the head researcher.

The Journal of Traditional and Complementary Medicine published a full report on oil pulling in 2016 that details the following benefits:

  • Prevents dental cavities
  • Improves overall oral hygiene
  • Decreases oral microbial count (the lauric acid in coconut oil is great for this)
  • Reduces the stickiness of plaque
  • Reduces gingivitis
  • Decreases halitosis (bad breath)
  • Swishing strengthens the mouth and jaw muscles
  • Whitens teeth

Pretty cool, right? After reading the the studies, I could not wait to try it.

How To Pull Oil

Okay, first, let me just say that while 20 minutes of swishing is how the ancients did it, you do not have to. Next, remember to buy organic, non-GMO coconut oil for maximum results.

Here is how I like to do oil pulling:

  1. Pour 1-2 teaspoons of coconut oil into your mouth (either with a spoon or from a medicine cup). Some people recommendto dothis right in the morning before drinking or eating, but I say whenever it works best for you.
  2. Swish for 5-20 minutes. Because 20 minutes is a long time, aim for around 10 minutes to receive the benefit.
  3. Go slow. Gentle swishing and sucking the oil through and around the teeth is all you need.
  4. Do not swallow. Spit the oil out in atrash can. Never spit it down the sink, because the oil will clog the pipes.
  5. Immediately rinse your mouth out with same warm sea salt water.
  6. Brush and floss as normal.

Final Thoughts

I was skeptical about coconut oil pulling at first, but I am astounded by the results. That is why I wanted to share my thoughts and findings with you today on OiB. If you have tried coconut oil pulling before, feel free to share your experiences!

Brazil Nut Oil

I tried Brazil Nut Oil for my hair, the result is amazing!

In most cases, I am not the type of person to buy very popular or very new beauty products. I know that there are a number of products on there which people claim to be brilliant but are just downright terrible. For a good long while, I avoided Brazil nut oil. This was a huge mistake. Let me run you through the experience I had with it.

I tried two types of Brazil nut oil. Firstly, I tried shampoo which claimed to contain Brazil nut oil. I am going, to be honest with you here, I did not notice any benefit when I used it.  I almost gave up at this point, then somebody told me to try pure Brazil nut oil. I am glad I did.

I started applying the Brazil nut oil to my hair and I noticed huge changes within a day. One of the main reasons as to why I started to look into a ‘natural solution’ like this is because I noticed that my hair had started to look a bit dull and lifeless. In addition to that, I was experiencing split end after split end. This, obviously, was not good. I tried a number of different solutions before and none of them really seemed to work. Then I discovered Brazil nut oil.

Saturday Relaxation with Dead Sea Salt and Ginger

Within days, the life in my hair had come back. Since Brazil nut oil, apparently, encourages hair growth, my hair looked fuller within weeks of me starting to use the natural oil. In addition to this, the hair was thicker. Split ends were now a thing of the past. In fact, I do not think I have had a single split end since I started to use Brazil nut oil. My hair has never looked or felt better.

Once my friends started to see the huge impact that the Brazil nut oil had on my hair (I loved the compliments!) I told them what they needed to do. Within a few weeks, all of them had experienced exactly the same results that I had. They ended up with stunning looking hair, and it didn’t require any effort on their part either! All they needed to do was apply some of the oil to their hair and they were pretty much ‘good to go’.

Remember, if you wish to get the same benefits that I did with Brazil nut oil, it is important that you choose an oil which is incredibly high in quality. This means only the purest of nut oil that you can find. Your natural health food store should carry some. If not, try to get it online!

Have you tried Brazil nut oil too? Let me know of your experiences below! 😉
