How to Pamper Your Feet Naturally?

Have you ever heard that most men are attracted by the way the woman keeps her feet?

In case you’re wondering that’s all false, let me tell you that it is true since all my close male friends have admitted to it.

Today on OiB, we are going to discuss how feet grab others attention instantly and what can be done to get the perfect benefit from it for your personality and feet. Oups!

They believe that a woman who takes care of things as petty as her feet is greatly managed. So why not do the following to pamper one’s feet naturally and have the best of both personality and your feet.

  • Employ a DIY manicure (preparing you a step by step infographic very shortly)
  • Apply moisturizers and wear clean cotton socks
  • Relax your feet through different techniques
  • Maintain your feet through dead skin removal, proper nail clipping and massaging
  • Soften your feet soles naturally.

I recall when I finished my first 50km in the tropical forest of Malaysia last year, my feet hurts so bad! I used a few technics listed below to help recover.

All these tips have greatly helped me to have much better skin on my feet and every pair of shoes, every slipper looks good on my feet after proper care. Even the skin is rejuvenated and flushes its pink color to make my feet look enhanced and naturally blooming. This can be done though the following remedies in particular:

Use Toothpaste

Have your own manicure through doing away with yellow nails. Just dab some whitening toothpaste over your nails and let them sit while you watch one of your favorite episodes.

Use Salt and Oils

You can moisturize your feet through by removing dead skin cells. Use coarse salt and mix it with some vegetable oil which shouldn’t dissolve all the way. Some examples are Coconut oil or Carrot Oil, they both works fine. Rub with a pumice stone and rinse to have your pink heels again.

If you need help figuring out which salt to use, feel free to check the relevant article here.

Soak Techniques

Use water to soak your feet for 10 to 20 minutes or add optional honey with milk. Rinse and apply moisturizer. Alternatively, you can also apply a homemade paste to your skin by adding to 0.2 cup of raw honey, rosemary and peppermint solution. Your feet will naturally absorb the paste during your sleeping or rest time.

Use Cuticle Cream

Trim and clip your toe nails and massage using cuticle creams in a circular motion or even use mayonnaise for the same.

Use Milk

You can soften your soles through adding 0.25 cup milk in some water and soaking them for an hour. While all this can pamper your feet greatly, share with us how your feet changed through these remedies or share some of your own tips with us too.

Milk as well as yogurt is a natural exfoliant and helps smooth dry skin. My long-time dried legs are now gone!

Let me tell you how it helps in nature while I will also let you in to a DIY cure too.

First let’s see what Fenugreek leaves are and from where did they actually evolve. Was it some scientist’s organic experiment, or some greedy witch’s spell set loose? Well Fenugreek is a plant that grows in nature every year while it has leaf bunches of two to three leaflets in it. It is grown all over the world while is quite dominated over the Indian sub-continent (near East). Growing countries include Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey, Morocco and such others.

You could use this warm water to wash your face every day and see the results. These were two separate procedures for glowing skin but I combined both of them to receive such added benefits that I don’t need my base anymore! All I do is dab some moisturizer, put on my mascara and red lipstick and I am ready to glow out all day and all time! I keep my Fenugreek water handy and wash my face whenever I need to.

Some people would have tried everything but not gotten much instant results.

Well, I can help you with that as I have too many Fenugreek remedies, the question is, are you willing to ask or will you continue following chemical peels that have instant results?

Thank you for stopping by, as always, I am excited to see that OiB community is growing day by day 😉

Customize Your Facial: How to Master Multi-Masking + 3 Simple Recipes—Spa Days at Home

I’ve been on the natural skin care path for some time now. Raw honey, apple cider vinegar, essential oils, and baking soda are all staples in my beauty regimen. As you know by now, experimentation is key to this process. And that is what OiB is all about, grabbing that piece of knowledge and make it yours to own, use and ideal propagate in your own circle. It takes time and dedication.

I personally love when I discover a new recipe that I can reexploxe at home in my bathroom. There is no one size fits all beauty routine. Recently, I’ve started to experiment with multi-masking. The concept behind multi-masking is simple: Feed your skin what it needs by using different masks at the same time that are specific to each area of your skin.

Here’s a crash course in multi-masking with 3 face mask recipes for T-zone, eyes and dry areas. Because you too might want to rethink applying a single mask to your entire face.

Mask 1: Clay T-Zone Mask

The t-zone area for many usually produces the most oil and can be the home of breakouts. You’ll want to use this mask on the forehead, chin and nose region, as it’s designed to control oil, fight bacteria and curb acne. Try this Clay and Witch Hazel mask to pull out those impurities, unclog your pores, and tighten the t-zone area.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon witch hazel
  • 1 teaspoon bentonite clay
  • 2 drops lemon essential oil (optional)

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients and stir until blended. Don’t use metal spoons or bowls to mix.
  2. Apply to your forehead, chin, and nose with clean fingers and leave on for 10 minutes. Super oily skin types can l
  3. Leave on for up to 20 minutes.
  4. Rinse off with warm water.

Mask 2: Carrot Eye Area Mask

The area around the eyes show signs of aging the quickest because this area of the skin has the fewest oil glands, making it prone to dehydration and fine lines. You’ll want to treat the eye area with it’s own powerful mask to best fight fine lines and firm the skin. A mask designed to fight wrinkles can be created with just a few ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon finely shredded carrot. Use a regular carrot, not a baby carrot. Baby carrots loose a lot of their natural nutrients when turned into little nubs.
  • 1 teaspoon aloe vera

Directions

  1. Combine egg white, carrot and aloe vera in a small bowl. Beat mixture together with a fork until frothy (about 1 minute).
  2. With clean hands or a brush, apply the mask around and under the eyes. Avoid the eyelids because you don’t want to get it in your eyes.
  3. Let the mask dry for at least 15 minutes or up to 30 minutes. You will definitely feel the mask tightening your skin! But if it gets uncomfortable, go ahead and remove it.
  4. Use a soft, wet towel to gently clean off the mask.

Mask 3 – Vitamin E and Avocado Mask for Outer Edges/Dry Patches

The sections around the outer edges of the face, usually the neck, temples, and outer cheeks, can also be dry and often need extra hydration. Choose a mask that will help retain your own skin’s moisture. This vitamin E and honey mask will do just that, and the oil from the avocado will be the hydrating boost for those dry patches that sometimes can make the skin feel tight or cracked.

Simple Homemade Scrub

If like me you have hard skin on your hands and feet or want to just exfoliate your body and get it ready for your summer holidays, then this simple scrub is a god send! From my experience, this scrub has to be the simplest homemade beauty product I’ve ever made! It has no unwanted chemicals and can be tweaked any way you wish.

As you’ll see I’ve left out measurements because this scrub can be made fresh each time in small amounts or can be made in batches and stored in an airtight glass container.

Lets start 😉

Essentiel Oil | OrganicIsBeautiful
Moisturising Oil | OrganicIsBeautiful

The Basics

All you’ll need is:

  1. Oil(s) of choice
  2. Salt or sugar
  3. Essence oil(s)

And that’s it.

Simply take equal amounts of oil and salt/sugar and a few drops of essence oil and mix until combined fully. coconut is always my oil of choice, but any oil you like will do 🙂 Now that you know the basic recipe, I’m going to tell you my all time favourite ways to tweak this scrub, both for the hands, feet and body?

Two Amazing DIY recipes

⇔ Lemon Tea Tree Foot Scrub:

If you suffer from smelly feet and can’t seem to find anything to help, try making a batch of this scrub and using it twice a week, from personal experience I’ve found this works a dream:) Combine equal amounts of any oil and salt then add some lemon juice, between 3-6 tablespoons and a few drops of tea tree oil or eucalyptus. The acid in the lemon juice really helps in breaking down thick, hard skin and the tea tree helps kill the odor causing bacteria, which will help make your feet feel fresh and brand new:)

You can also find on OiB further tips on how to use lemon for your skin or your immune system. What about coconut oil you will say!? Do not worry, I have it all prepared here and here.

[I know you love me ;-)]

⇔ Rosewater Hand & Body Scrub

This recipe is perfect for exfoliating and moisturizing skin before a tan and helps keep dry skin away from problem areas such as the knees and elbows. Like before take equal amounts of oil and this time sugar, combine it with a few drops of rose essential oil and a few capfuls of rosewater. If you want that added moisture kick a little Rose Hip oil is lovely and will help really nourish your skin. The rose water helps sooth the skin and also helps give it a lovely fresh scent, I used this once a week and I can honestly say my skin feels amazing every time:)

Rose Petals | OrganicIsBeautiful

And those are my favourite ways to tweak this scrub. That is the beauty of this simple recipe, you can create many different scrubs for many different needs. Orange and basil go perfectly and you can use spearmint/peppermint instead of tea tree. The possibilities are endless:) I will prepare DIY tutorial with visual in the coming weeks. It will be featured on my Facebook page, as well as Twitter and Instagram.
